Been shooting a lot of flowers lately the summer is a really good time for this!

I have decided that I will rebuild the Lightroom Galleries site for the main page (this unfortunately means it will probably take me a bit longer to get the site back up). However I may have copies of those galleries within wordpress. I have upload my old sketchbook drawings as an example of how the gallery plugin works. Sketchbook

I was having a problem with wordpress not updating and it turns out wordpress had to be reconfigured to use php5. This is a pretty simple fix. You merely have to add .htaccess file to your main directory with AddType x-mapp-php5 .php as the body. Then it should be smooth sailing.

I was out shooting bugs earlier in the day that have seemed to infested one of our plants (well not really but there where a couple on top of it). There were also a couple dragonflies flying around but I didn’t manage to get a great picture of them. I find bugs to be a big challenge for 2 reasons. They don’t stay still and they are not large in size. For those 2 reasons it makes it quite hard to shoot them. I imagine if I had like 150mm macro lens or greater it might be a little easier not having to be right up on top of them. Anyway I did mange to get a couple good shots i’ll post more up as I work through them.

Well was previously using LightroomGalleries to organize all my images and make a website. It works pretty well but seemed like a challenge to update and maintain, customization seemed limited with out advance coding knowledge. I am therefore looking into using a gallery plugin for Adobe Lightroom to display the images. I currently have a test gallery up if anyone wants to take a look, just realize it is random images at the current time.

This little bunny got attack by my parents cat (which she was beyond pissed at me putting her back inside).    What can I say don’t play with your food cat and this wouldn’t have happened.   After the bunny rested on the deck awhile it decided to slowly venture back into the woods.   Hopefully it survived despite it’s injuries.

More wordpress glory i’ve added a contact link so people can email with feedback and comments, or any other inquires you might have.

I have added a sub-page  to show my flickr stream so people can look at what  have been working on recently.  It still probably needs some more customization, but for now it is a good way of showing some of my work.  Please have a look! flickr
